Why do people meditate? 🧘♀️ Not just to relax. Meditation can help you slow down, become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, improve your focus, and create a moment of calm in your day. You don’t need an hour. Even a few minutes can be a great place to start. 🌿 What would you like meditation to help you with: stress, sleep, focus or overthinking? Tell me in the comments ↓ Follow @medivana and let’s learn to meditate together. #meditation #mindfulness #meditationforbeginners #guidedmeditation #medivanaButton

Meditation doesn’t have to be complicated. 🤍 For a long time, I thought meditation meant sitting still, clearing your mind and somehow… not thinking. But that’s not really what meditation is. Meditation is learning to pause. To notice your breath. To become aware of your body, your thoughts and the present moment — without needing to change everything. And this is also the beginning of my own journey with MediVana. 🌿 I’m currently deepening my knowledge of meditation, and I want to take you with me from the very beginning. No pressure to be “good” at meditation. No complicated rules. We’ll learn, practice and explore it step by step. So if you’ve ever thought: “I can’t meditate because my mind never stops…” Stay here. You’re exactly who I’m creating this for. 🤍 Welcome to MediVana. What would you like to learn about meditation first? #MediVana #MeditationForBeginners #MeditationJourney #Mindfulness #LearnToMeditate MeditationPractice InnerPeace MindfulLivingButton

One thing I’m learning about meditation: how you breathe matters. I used to breathe without ever paying attention to what my body was actually doing. Now I’m learning to slow it down and feel the movement of my breath. Try this with me: Place one hand on your chest and one hand on your abdomen. Inhale slowly through your nose. Feel your abdomen gently expand. Exhale slowly. Feel your abdomen gently soften again. Don’t force it. Just notice the movement. Take 3 slow breaths like this. Did you notice a difference compared to how you normally breathe? Try it now and tell me below ↓ We’re learning this together. 🤎Button

I used to think breathing was just… breathing. Something your body does automatically, without thinking about it. But since I started learning more about meditation, I’ve become much more aware of my breath and where I actually feel it in my body. Sometimes I notice it at my nose. Sometimes in my chest. Sometimes deeper in my abdomen. And that’s one of the things I want to share here: meditation doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it simply starts with noticing what is already happening. Try it with me for a moment. Close your eyes. Take one slow breath in and out. Where did you feel your breath the most: nose, chest or abdomen? Tell me in the comments ↓ I’m curious to see what you notice. Gülcan MediVanaButton

Welcome to MediVana 🌿 This is the beginning of something new and I would love for you to be part of it. I’m Gülcan, the founder of MediVana. I created this space because I want to make meditation feel simple, accessible and real. You don’t need to be experienced, perfectly calm, or able to sit still for an hour. And I’m taking you with me from the very beginning. We’ll learn about meditation together how to breathe, how to sit, what to do with your thoughts, how to slow down, and how to make meditation part of everyday life. I’ll be sharing guided meditations, breathing exercises, practical tips and, soon, live online meditation classes. But I also want MediVana to grow with you. So tell me in the comments: Have you ever tried meditation? And what would you like meditation to help you with? Stress? Better sleep? Overthinking? Focus? Or simply finding a little more peace in your day? I’ll use your answers to help shape the meditations and classes I create. This is just the beginning. Welcome to MediVana. Meditate. Breathe.
